Veterans Program
Immediate, compassionate trauma-focused treatment for Veterans outside of the VA system

About Our Program
New Wave Youth and Family Therapy Services created the Veterans Trauma Recovery Program to provide timely, specialized mental health care for Veterans who are often left waiting significant amounts of time for services within the VA system. We recognize that many Veterans carry invisible wounds related to combat exposure, military service, and life after service—and that healing cannot be put on hold.
Our program offers immediate, compassionate, and effective trauma-focused treatment outside of the VA system, designed to meet Veterans where they are and support meaningful recovery.
We are a team of licensed clinicians, associates, and supervised trainees committed to serving Veterans through pro-bono and low-cost services. Care is provided by mental health professionals trained in both traditional talk therapy and advanced trauma-focused modalities, allowing treatment to be tailored to each Veteran’s unique experiences and goals.
Our Commitment
At New Wave, we believe Veterans deserve care that is responsive, respectful, and effective—without long delays or unnecessary barriers. Our Veterans Program is built to support healing, restore stability, and help Veterans move forward with clarity, strength, and purpose.
